POAC is the voice of all counseling students. We are a student-run organization that shares a seat at the table with our professors. We pursue areas of interest professors are unable to spend a lot of time on. If there are things we wish to know more about we find people to speak on those topics. We discuss issues within the program with the professors to find solutions that work for both parties. We are a support system aiding each other through classes, licensing, and beyond. Once you are a member of POAC you are a member for life and become a family member. We are a team because teamwork makes the dream work

The vision of POAC is to provide tools that we can use with our clients and for ourselves. We support and inspire one another throughout of individual journeys. Everyone has a voice and we want to make sure it is heard. POAC is the passion of students and alumni to grow not only for themselves but for their clients. We want everyone to be a part of this wonderful lifelong journey.
